Class 4 Local Geography

We hope you enjoy this special feature from Ms. Mandy's Class 4 Local Geography main lesson block.
Students were guided with a build up in the lesson looking at the geographical features in their regions - mountains, escarpments, river sources/river mouth, ocean, forests, lakes etc.
Students were then encouraged to use play-dough, clay, real earth, papier-mache, paint or real substances to create their model.
The children were enthusiastic and enjoyed sharing with one another in their live zoom class time. Live zooms offer students the opportunity to ask their classmates questions. They were delighted to realize some similarities in landscape!
